Powertrain
Let's get the whole story moving. Our drive team takes care of exactly that. And if vehicles didn't move, it would all be half the fun. The team's tasks include all electrical and electronic devices and components as well as other control devices. These include, among other things, safety functions such as the windshield wipers or emergency shutdowns,
Comfort functions such as the display or the logging functions with it
our trips can also be meaningfully evaluated.
Chassis
The chassis team handles and supervises a wide range of tasks and projects relating to the chassis (monocoque) and its add-on parts (e.g. chassis, steering of the vehicle, wheel suspension, etc.). One important task is to optimize the weight and shape of the vehicle's load-bearing components. During work, the aerodynamics of the component functions are always taken into account, which is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the vehicle. The load-appropriate design of components of the chassis on the basis of the set of rules and the stresses in driving operations also covers an important element in the work in the chassis team. Our chassis and drive team are in very close contact with various tasks.
Public Relations
The PR team takes care of representing our association to the outside world. This includes a variety of activities, such as writing newsletters, which informs outsiders about news and current developments. Furthermore, the acquisition of sponsors is one of our tasks. This is very important because the association can only exist with the support of our partners and sponsors. But creative tasks also fall within the scope of the PR team. So they are always working on optimizing the online presence from the website to all social media platforms. This includes, for example, the writing of texts and the production and post-processing of images.
Finance
The finance team is as important for our association as all other teams, so that Fortis Saxonia e.V. can continue to exist. In the team you get to know many exciting topics around finance. For example, accounting is one of the central tasks of this team. This serves as the basis for the preparation of the annual financial statements and is therefore essential for the existence of our association. Furthermore, tax returns, such as sales tax, are submitted. The members of the finance team also keep an exact overview of the income and expenses of the association.
